Common questions
Do I need to know anything about the Bible?
No. We have people who have been reading Scripture for decades and people who opened a Bible for the first time last month, in the same room, at the same table. Questions are welcome, and no question is too basic.
Is it just for a certain age group?
It is a co-ed study and it skews young, but there is no age requirement. If you want to grow in the Word, you belong there.
What should I bring?
A Bible in any translation, something to write with, and a concordance if you have one. Our guides use the KJV for quotations and we read other translations alongside it. If you don’t have any of that, come anyway.
Can I join from outside DFW?
Yes — Club Polis is an online ministry as well as an in-person one. Download a study guide to get started, and send us a note so we can point you to the stream.
Can I use your study guides with my own group?
Please do. Every guide on the Bible Studies page is free to download and free to use with your small group, family, or on your own.
